The little things… day 29

FALL

Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.  ~Albert Camus

I’m grateful for…
The beauty of this season, the clear blue skies, crisp cold air and colorful landscapes.

I’m letting go of…
Dreading the next season  because I know there is beauty to be found in winter.

Whenever fall arrives, it always makes me think of the seasons in my own life.  Just like the leaves, I want to grow old beautifully, colorful and vibrant!

  1. Christine, I love this picture! It feels so abundantly fresh and alive. Thank you for reminding us to have gratitude for the incredible world we live in. And something else you do reminds me of this quote:

Three things in human life are important: The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. The third is to be kind. ~ Henry James

    1. Thank you Lorraine! Love that quote, actually I’ve been contemplating that for my next series… random acts of kindness. It all ties in with happiness and gratitude. Have a fantastic day!

  2. Hi Christine,

I love this post! The photo is gorgeous and totally refreshing; your gratitude is beautiful; and the quote is spot on! Thanks!

  3. I am so incredibly happy that you used a Camus quote! I am a huge fan of his work and in fact my favorite quote ever is from him. “In the depths of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer”. And what a great message that you give in this post!

  4. I’m sure you will….no doubt at all. Can you make me a copy of the picture shown here. Please make it large enough for the wall in the dining room. It doesn’t have to have expensive frame. Just something light. If you have a picture for wintertime please make another one….in fact I will order all the 4 seasons….just charge me…..

    1. Thank you so much! I was just thinking about you now here you are with your nomination. I am so humbled. I’m in the process of posting something… thank you for being my friend and for this award! HUGS!
