I love this, Christine. This speaks to the “grass is greener” point of view, which we really must guard against. You know that I like to talk about “chasing your fire” on my website (www.chasingyourfire.com), but you have to guard against just running blindly towards what seems like greener pastures. Instead, you must make sure that it really is the best next step for you and fits in with your passion (fire) and desired direction for your life. Thanks for posting!
I agree! And sometimes, when you find the other side is just the same or even worse, it is always a temporary situation and might have been a pit stop to your actual destination – this is the point where some immediately turn around and some tough it out and celebrate later on. “Nothing worth having, comes without great risk or hard work. Just remember, the price is yours to pay.” my dad would always say…I love your blog by the way! Have a great day!
Thanks, Christine! I appreciate your blog, too. 🙂 Is that your sweet baby girl on day 20? So beautiful! Have a happy Wednesday.
She is beautiful, not mine though. She’s an aspiring child model starting her portfolio.
Look before you leap! The grass is not always greener on the other side of the road. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it! Being rich does not mean you are happier! Good one my friend! Hugs!
Thanks Mz. Babs. Hugs back!
